For those looking to expand their families with a pet, knowledgeable representatives from local dog adoption agencies will be available to guide prospective owners through the adoption process.
This annual expo proudly supports Good Karma Pet Rescue, a distinguished non-profit and all-breed rescue organization established in 2011 by Stacey Tollackson. Starting from a modest base of foster homes, Good Karma has flourished into the largest foster-based rescue network within Florida. In 2022 alone, they successfully rescued over 2,000 animals, underscoring their significant impact on the community.
Good Karma Pet Rescue dedicates itself to the care of dogs and cats across all spectrums - regardless of size, age, breed, or medical needs - by placing them in nurturing foster environments. Their work extends far beyond simple adoptions. They actively engage in vital community services through programs aimed at helping terminally ill and non-adoptable pets, managing community cats with their TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) efforts, and aiding pet owners with cost-effective veterinary services at the Good Karma Pet Clinic.
