Prepare your paws and join hundreds and hundreds of animal lovers for a one mile walk to support the Humane Society of Broward County. This year, the VCA Walk for the Animals is happening on March 4th, 2023, celebrating its 33rd year of bringing together animal enthusiasts. The event has moved to a new location near Fort Lauderdale Beach, the beautiful Las Olas Intracoastal Promenade Park, offering a magnificent view of the ocean and a refreshing sea breeze.
In addition to the walk, there will be vendor booths, entertainment, prizes, and more. Participants who gather donations will receive gifts for different fundraising levels, starting at $150, which earns them the official Walk t-shirt. For those who raise $1,000 or more, their dog will be entered into a contest for a chance to become the 2024 Walk Cover Dog. The 2023 current Cover Dog is Sparty, who lives in Weston with his human parents, Amy and Tenney McGraw.
Register now at WalkForTheAnimals, either as an individual walker or creating a Pack. Once registered, customize your own fundraising page, and invite family, friends, and co-workers to join you or donate with just one click. You can also join the Broward Bark team.
